Finally...A Nice Day!

Lilly has started really liking the sandbox! The other night she cried and cried for the "shobel and bucket." It was raining so we couldn't go out....

Is anyone else completely sick of the rain?! We sure are at our house! We've had so much rain over the past week that it has drawn in the mosquitoes big time so we haven't been outside very much at all...until today that is.

Macey is enjoying summer school so far. She's taking swimming lessons for the third year, and that's her favorite part. This coming week she is going to basketball camp so she's very excited about that. She obviously gets that from her dad and definitely not me because I sure was no athlete! She has summer school through the end of June and then gets a break from school.

Lilly continues to be very active and definitely going on 2!! Her latest words include "pretty please," not just plain "please," and "watch me" (which sounds more like "otch me"). She's at a very fun age right now. It's almost time for a hair cut for her again, and once again we are debating whether or not to try to grow her bangs out or not. I'm thinking we will cave and get them cut again.

Mike is getting further on the basement, and we all can't wait for that to get done! Next he needs to install some tile and then finish the trim. After that we will be ready for the carpet installation. It will be so nice to have an area for the girls' toys rather than having them (particularly Lilly's toys) in my living room upstairs!
