Today is Macey's 8th birthday! Where does the time go?! It just blows me away that she is 8 already. She's getting taller and taller every day, and I have a feeling it won't be long and she'll be my height since her feet are almost the same size as mine already! I took Macey and her really good friend, Caitlin, swimming yesterday at River Valley Inn. They had a blast and kept going from the pool to the hot tub to warm up! I then took them to Paradise Pizza in Osceola for pizza and ice cream for dessert which they enjoyed very much as well! We hope you had a great birthday, Macey, and we love you VERY much!!!

Cascade Falls

This morning I went into work for a few hours so Mike decided to take Macey and Lilly to the library and then to Cascade Falls in Osceola. This was Lilly's first time to the library and she did great! She got a little loud when she was excited seeing a book she wanted, but otherwise did fine! She picked out a Maisy book along with a few others. Macey picked out a Goosebumps book. They then headed to see the Cascade Falls. It was very loud by the waterfall so Lilly was afraid at first, but they still managed to get some great photos! I have yet to see this after living here 3 1/2 years!

Weekend Events

We finally got the water slide up and ready for the girls. Lilly wasn't so sure the first time down, but she liked it after that.

This weekend Macey and I got haircuts. Macey wanted to go shorter so this is what she got. Hers turned out better than mine...my 1 1/2 inches that I wanted taken off turned into about 4 inches off!

Finally...a place to put the girls' toys...and get them out of my living room! We are starting to get furniture moved downstairs now, and then we can all finally relax down there! Lilly so far loves the new area...well, I think mostly she likes going up and down the stairs and then jumping off the bottom step! I still have to organize the play area a little better and plan to get some storage as well to make it a little more appealing, but for now this will do! Mike can't wait to get the big-screen TV down there, and actually, I can't wait to get that big thing out of my living room! Macey is enjoying the extra space as well. Next will be the fun of decorating the walls:)

Lilly's First Pee on Potty!

So Lilly has shown interest in the potty for a while now, on and off, but has never actually peed on the potty, just sits there with a big smile on her face usually. This morning she kept telling Macey "me pee on potty" so, without me actually even knowing, Macey finished up her business in the bathroom, put Lilly on the potty, and she actually peed for her (on the regular toilet might I add, with Macey holding her)!! I'm mad because I missed it, but of course Macey is all smiles and happy as can be that she went for her! Of course I do realize that this may not happen again for a while since she isn't even 2 yet, but still exciting news!
